Our services are FREE of charge! Most consultants will ask for a percentage based on the savings they create for a customer for the duration of the contract & at the end of the contract find a way to renew it. We do not need a contract nor do we need to charge a fee because we have negotiated with those who own the trucks, trains, planes, boats, brokerage firms, warehouses, etc…. into giving our customers the same rate they would if we were one of their employees in exchange for bringing them business and not being on their payroll they pay us a small percentage for the duration of the business relationship. Thus, we are a free means of advertising and bringing in new business they would not have had otherwise. Thus, you (the client) get a FREE service! No contract is needed because we are confident once the business relationship is established you will be pleased with the results and the continued business relationship development that grows as we continue to do business on a day-to-day basis.
Walter Jacobson, the President, has been in the transportation and logistics business since 1993. He has worked for Wanhi the Ocean Lines, several trucking companies (such as Herman Miles, & Overnight), Freight Forwarders, and many other transportation-related companies.
For 11 years, he ran his own freight forwarding company. He ran owner-operators under contract and leased the trailers to them. He had a secure warehouse in Hawthorne, CA that did cross-dock work, pick & pack, trans-loads, etc… He created the basic foundation for the software used in-house. We serviced manufacturing in all modes of transportation: Air, Ocean, Truck, & Rail for both international & domestic. These services included refrigerated / frozen goods, special equipment such as over-size, flatbeds, personal effects, government contracts, car movers, blanket wrap / logistic trucks, hazmat, and much more. The company was sold in 2008 & now he runs Versatile Solutions that provides services to both transportation & manufacturing alike.
