Ship To The Advanced Warehouse Or Directly To The Trade Show?
If you ship to the advanced warehouse, your exhibited products remain close to the show with full security provided for greater peace of mind. The show decorator stages your exhibit before the final move-in. You take the last step to a successful trade show by arriving, uncrating, and setting up. When you move most of your goods to the advance warehouse, you benefit by making time your friend in order to use an LTL carrier, which typically sets lower rates. If you need last-minute service, then you can ship directly to the trade show. Shipping ahead to the advance warehouse almost never means detention charges.
By shipping directly to the show, you need to meet a show decorator’s schedule. For example, decorators must keep to a tight window on a show with large items to be moved in and out. A predetermined free time allotment generally involves two hours free pickup time and two hours free delivery time. All carriers charge detention after the predetermined time. At Versatile Solutions, we take care of those charges internally on our end by agreements with our partners for LTL shipments.
